Description
In recent years, the warming trend of the global climate, and the melting of glaciers on the Earth that exerts a deep impact on the global environment, has exposed our homeland to huge potential risk. Inspired by "a slab of unmalting ice", AGELOCER created a synthetic sapphire flying tourbillon watch. The design concept of this watch is expected to draw more attention to the melting of glaciers, call upon more to take part in the protection of the Earth, and make the unmalting glaciers possible.
This watch perceived ultimate aesthetics comprises a transparent synthetic sapphire case well-polished by watchmakers, and a special shaped translucent silicone water-resistant ring disposed around the edges of the case, coupled with the high refractive index (1.77) of sapphire and the principle of refractive lens, makes the silicone water-resistant ring “invisible”. AGELOCER’s hollow-out flying tourbillon movement gives 100% transparent display of the movement structure, so that the wearer would get immersed in the aesthetics of mechanical art.
AGELOCER’s CAL.A9001 flying tourbillon mechanical movement features twin barrels linkage and 80-hour power storage.
With 8 parts (1 watch glass, 1 case, 1 caseback, 1 watch crown, 4 lugs) made of synthetic sapphire separately polished, AGELOCER asked some professional watchmakers to assemble these parts. In doing so, AGELOCER reduces the loss of synthetic sapphire and generates less carbon footprints on the Earth.
Durability

Mouvement mécanique cal.a9001 Flying tourbillon développé par aigoller avec technologie de liaison à double Horlogerie et 80 heures de réserve de marche. Agelocer a poncé 8 pièces composées de saphirs synthétiques artificiels, dont le miroir, le boîtier, le fond, la Couronne et les 4 oreilles de la montre, séparément et indépendamment, puis les a assemblées par des Horlogers professionnels, réduisant ainsi les pertes de saphirs synthétiques artificiels et contribuant à réduire l'empreinte carbone de la planète.
