1. Source of Inspiration

In recent years, the relationships between humans, and between humans and nature, are becoming unbalanced. The constant wars and frequent volcanic eruptions have forced us to rethink how we live in better balance with the world. The AGELOCER VOLCANO SERIES presents time in the form of a mechanical timepiece fused with a volcanic eruption in the hope of perfect balance between mankind and nature, using flowing lava to present the passage of time.

2. Aesthetic Techniques

The VOLCANO SERIES vividly and perfectly depicts one of the world's smallest mechanical volcanoes which erupts, flows and freezes on the wrist, interestingly marking time. The carefully designed time reading system with a 12-hour spherical hand portrays the lava eruption of a volcanic crater through 3D printing technology. The orange lines of the dial reflect the flow of erupting lava with Grand Feu enamel and the luminous numbers covered by the Super Luminova are like the night after a volcanic eruption, dark but with light. The orange three-way curved flowing minute hand illustrates the lava flow process animatedly. The rapid rotation of the individual small orange seconds dial demonstrates the dynamics of nature fusing away the lava with a vortex to achieve ecological balance.

3. Innovative Techniques

The automatic mechanical movement developed in-house by AGELOCER offers an additional jumping hour function in addition to the independent hour, minute and second hands. The automatic winding module of the movement is fixed to the main plate and is separated from the internal drive train convenient for assembly and maintenance. The jumping hour function is designed with a spring hook which allows the 12-hour gear to jump one frame instantaneously when the spring force reaches the toggle threshold, optimizing the three-hand split watch and solving the problem of inconvenient time reading.
