BACKGROUND:

In the 1950s, Airain’s legendary Type 20 served as a trusted companion for the ALAT Aviation Service, the French Army’s airborne division. Its elegance lies in its non-compromising, straightforward looks, as well as its lethal precision.

Presented here is a unique, green edition of the revived Type 20, as a celebration of Airain’s military history.

TARGET DESCRIPTION:

Closely matches the original 1950s Type 20. Features a hand wound column wheel chronograph with flyback function and countdown bezel. Protected by a domed Hesalite crystal. Its dial has the original lumed Arabic numerals, a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and a 30 minute recorder at 3 o’clock.

The hand-applied beige Super-LumiNova color has been carefully chosen to recall the original luminescent material of the original Type 20.

- Manual wind column wheel chronograph with flyback complication and 60 hours power reserve

- Case size: 39,5 mm

- Case description: stainless steel, slightly bigger than the original to match modern standards
