Titan Flying Tourbillon – A Legacy Redefined
Celebrating 40 years of Titan’s legacy in fine watchmaking, the Titan Flying Tourbillon is more than a timepiece—it is a proud milestone in Indian horology. As an original inhouse design imagined in India, curated and refined with the collaboration of a Swiss partner, the 7TH1 caliber stands as the pinnacle of craftsmanship, precision, and innovation.
Limited to just four pieces worldwide, this timepiece is a rare collectible that seamlessly blends Titan’s rich heritage with the elegance of contemporary Savoir-Faire and Métiers d'Art. At its heart lies a mesmerizing flying tourbillon, uniquely crafted with a bridge shaped like the iconic Titan logo—ingeniously doubling as a petite seconds hand.
The dial, finished in a traditional hand-guilloché “grain of rice” pattern, is framed by twin sub-dials in a radiant peacock blue—a romantic nod to the national bird of India. These sub-dials are rendered in a refined flinqué guilloché, creating a dynamic interplay of light, texture and craftsmanship.
Encased in 18k rose gold, the watch embodies sophistication with its harmonious blend of polished and satin finishes. The sapphire crystal front and exhibition case back, both treated with anti-reflective coating, offer unobstructed clarity and an intimate view of the intricate movement within.
Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz, with a 36-hour power reserve and an accuracy of ±12 seconds per day, the Titan Flying Tourbillon is meticulously tested across six positions to ensure exceptional performance. Each piece is hand-finished with one of four distinctive decorations—Perlage, Côtes de Genève, Spiral Satin, and Circular Satin—making every watch a unique work of art.
This timepiece is not just a technical marvel—it is a story of passion, perseverance, and artistic excellence. Proudly imagined in India, it pays homage to Titan’s four-decade journey and marks a bold step forward in the evolution of Indian fine watchmaking.
