A heavyweight in the featherweight category

Graham has always positioned itself as a watch brand with a strong DNA and a disruptive character, notably by creating timepieces with temperament that are the antithesis of traditional watchmaking codes. Like some of the more discreet models, the Superlight is the embodiment of Graham's contradictory and innovative spirit, but also of the rebellious spirit in all of us.

Measuring 47mm and weighing less than 100 grams, this watch has a unique constitution.

This heavyweight with a light heart is encapsulated in a luminescent case sculpted from an Epoxy resin with orange hues, while the support for the movement is amplified by grade A Super-LumiNova. At the heart of the case structure are metallized carbon fibers in bronze tones, making each timepiece unique.

According to this innovative process, the edges of the case become luminescent in the dark, on a note of orange tones inlaid with carbon fiber. The dial's night-time legibility is optimized thanks to a play of luminescence between the green hands and the orange dial+, giving the timepiece precise readability day and night.

The Graham Superlight Carbon Skeleton is equipped with the brand’s legendary thumb-operated trigger, positioned on the left side of the case. This instrument is operated using the thumb, the fastest acting digit. With this design, a right-handed person will instinctively place their plumpest digit on the trigger and press it intuitively at breakneck speed.

Another key benefit of positioning the crown and trigger on the left is that it provides superior wearer comfort. Often when a watch is worn and the wearer flexes their wrist, the protrusions on the right flank of the case gouge the wrist, chafe the skin or inhibit free movement. No such problems affect the Graham Superlight Carbon Skeleton. Lastly, the trigger is formed of 3K carbon, again contributing to the model’s low mass.

The black rubber reset pusher, embellished with Clous de Paris decoration, delivers notable grip, a useful attribute during the heat of competition. In common with all Graham chronographs, the Superlight Carbon Skeleton translucent demonstrates the company’s overriding obsession for ergonomics and innovation.

Graham doesn’t do ordinary or bland.  Its watches are intended to engage with hearts and minds. The Superlight Carbon Skeleton features an open-worked dial revealing several components that are usually hidden from view. Prominent hour and minute hands, lined with Super-LumiNova, come to the fore to lucidly convey the time. Two counters, a 30-minute register at 3 o'clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock, employ blue or green hands to impart meaning. The dial is framed with a black carbon (3K) bezel combining black and grey hues, underscoring the sporty character of the Watch.

The Superlight Carbon Skeleton's translucent strap is the result of a harmonious blend of rubber and carbon fiber, contributing to the strap's resistance and lightness.

Graham could have stopped there, but that would be to misunderstand the brand. To complete this extraordinary timepiece and give it maximum character, the pin buckle is made entirely from black carbon fiber (3K), perfectly matching the bezel of this chronograph.

Precise, intuitive, light, lively and innovative: that is the very essence of the Superlight Carbon Skeleton translucent.
