Skindiver JetFlyer Chronograph – Wolbrook
The Skindiver JetFlyer Chronograph is where Wolbrook’s adventurous legacy meets modern French watchmaking.
Inspired by the brand’s original 1950s Skindiver® case and aviation heritage, this chronograph opens a bold new chapter — one that combines utility, mechanical sophistication, and accessibility. Assembled in France, it exemplifies Wolbrook’s ethos: crafting solid, dependable tool-watches built for real-world use.
The case retains the iconic proportions of the original Skindiver®: 38 mm at the bezel, 37 mm mid-case, 12.1 mm thickness (14.3 mm including a glass box-style sapphire crystal), and a comfortable 46 mm lug-to-lug length. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, it features polished chamfers and drilled lugs for effortless strap changes. The screw-down crown and caseback ensure 100 meters of water resistance, while the crown and pushers are generously proportioned for intuitive, glove-friendly handling. A 120-click unidirectional bezel completes the case, offering both a 60-minute dive scale and a 12-hour secondary time zone indication, with a BGW9 Super-LumiNova® X1 grade triangle at 12 o’clock.
The matte black dial is focused and legible: two subdials (30-minute and 12-hour) are paired with extended markers at 3, 6, and 9 minutes — a nod to traditional telephone timing intervals. The tachymeter scale is discreet, reinforcing the tool-watch identity. C7 Super-LumiNova® X1 grade is applied across all hands and markers, including the signature arrow-shaped minute hand and oversized “lollipop” chronograph seconds — hallmarks of Wolbrook’s functional design language.
At its core, the Jeambrun PS 6402 — a modern automatic chronograph movement — beats at 28,800 bph / 4Hz with a 55-hour power reserve. Redesigned and assembled in France, it features a blue column wheel, skeletonized balance bridge, and blued screws, showcasing both technical refinement and contemporary architecture. The custom rotor is finished in black PVD with technical markings filled in gold tone. Through the exhibition caseback, the movement reveals its most distinctive detail: the exclusive Armure de France finish — an interwoven hexagonal pattern symbolizing strength, precision, and national craftsmanship.
The Skindiver JetFlyer Chronograph is paired with a two-piece rally-style strap made from Italian vegetable-tanned leather, secured by a 316L stainless steel pin buckle signed Wolbrook — combining period-correct design with everyday durability.
Blending mid-century tool-watch design with contemporary horological substance, the Skindiver JetFlyer Chronograph is more than a tribute — it’s a statement. Wolbrook has a humble past, but the Skindiver JetFlyer Chronograph is built for what’s next.
