The Dior Rose des Vents collection was born in 2015 when Dior Jewellery Artistic Director Victoire de Castellane took inspiration from Monsieur Dior's childhood home in Granville, France, named "Les Rhumbs."

In this house, a wind rose compass design was inlaid in the mosaic floor. Symbolizing travel and direction, this compass rose became the central motif of a collection that would soon elevate itself as an icon of jewellery, sublimated by the softness of gold and the vibrant colors of ornamental stones.
