Limited watch collection "Mova" from the brand "Luch"

For the Day of the native language, the brand "Luch" has prepared a limited collection of watches "Mova" (translated from Belarusian as native language), which is dedicated to one of the most prominent writers not only of his time, but also of all Belarusian literature and namely to Vladimir Karatkevich. This collection was sold out in less than a day! Only 95 copies were released, which were distributed not only throughout the country but also beyond its borders.

Design and Symbolism

The watch represents the image of the writer himself. Every detail reflects the character of this outstanding personality: Stainless steel - his steadfastness. Matte gold color plating – his nobility. Sapphire crystal – his clarity of thought. The Luch-2209 movement is like his penetrating look. The classic strap with a butterfly buckle completes the image: strict, restrained, but inspired by ideas.

Features of the mechanism

The "Luch-2209" of Minsk Watch Plant is one of the thinnest movements produced by the Soviet industry. To reduce the height and size of the case, the central wheel was removed, replacing it with two compact ones. The movement also received a screwless balance and a regulator of the trigger mechanism. The plate and bars are protected from corrosion with gilding. Despite the apparent fragility this movement has proven its reliability and durability over the years.
