Description

The Manta Tourbillon Watch integrates environmental consciousness with exceptional mechanical aesthetics, infusing horological art with a fresh visual language. Its core design inspiration derives from the marine creature, the manta, renowned for its graceful gliding posture and heightened sensitivity to ecosystems, symbolizing the harmonious relationship between nature and humanity. By transforming this natural form into a mechanical structure, the watch establishes a profound connection between form and function.

In the design of the tourbillon module, traditional flat machining methods are entirely reimagined, replaced by two opposing manta-shaped balance bridges. This design employs a three-dimensional curved structure, presenting a fluid and dynamic form, marking a significant breakthrough in the finishing techniques of mechanical watchmaking. From digital modeling and complex surface forming to micrometer-level precision control, each stage requires highly precise engineering support. Due to the irregularity of the curved structure, materials are prone to thermal deformation or surface hardening during processing, significantly increasing cutting difficulty. Thus, even with advanced equipment for initial forming, experienced artisans must perform meticulous hand-finishing, including chamfering and polishing, to ensure the final product achieves an optimal balance between functionality and artistry. Throughout this process, designers must precisely control the dynamic impact of the curved forms on the tourbillon module to maintain its stability and timekeeping accuracy.

The watch is equipped with a cardless flying tourbillon movement, incorporating dual-barrel parallel technology to achieve a 60-hour power reserve, with an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), ensuring outstanding timekeeping performance. The dial features Super-LumiNova luminescent hands and markers, enhancing both the practicality of time reading and visual aesthetics. The overall design balances functionality and aesthetic value in its meticulous details, embodying a profound interpretation of modern mechanical aesthetics.
