Kaalam Minutes Timer provides full clarity of every minute with an exclusive-designed dial. Every minute from 1 to 60 per hour is clearly visible on two outer rings at the edge of the dial. Minutes are highlighted every three minutes in Orange – 3, 6, 9…. This is another measure to manage daily tasks or activities – in multiples of 3 minutes.

In the olden days, when we did not have good telephone connectivity, a long-distance telephone call (trunk call) was limited to 3 minutes and priced for it - so you had to finish the call in 3 minutes, conveying all the important issues. Case - Kaalam Minutes Timer is encased in a beautifully designed case with ridges on one side, unique polished square pushers, a polished crown with the chakra laser engraved on the other side, with beautifully designed lugs to suit most wrists. Two sapphire domed glass (with an anti-reflective coating) on the front and back which provides good visibility and comfort on the wrist. Water resistance is 100 meters. A Swiss Cross - inside the bottom right lug. Exclusively designed rotor in Tungsten with black PVD and our logo.

Dial – The reverse Panda lacquered dials have a grained texture, and the beige sub dials give a hint of vintage color. At the outer edge of the dial there are two rings displaying all running minutes from 1 to 60 in alternating rings, for every hour. Running minutes can be managed with the minute hand for daily activities. At 9 0’clock, seconds are displayed in the form of a chakra, the eternal wheel of time, spinning continuously. At 3 o’clock is the elapsed minutes counter, and at 6 o’clock is the elapsed hours counter.

Tear Drop Hands - Minutes and Hours hands are in polished stainless steel and the minutes timer hands – central seconds, elapsed minutes at 3 o’clock and elapsed hours at 6 o’clock, are in orange, beautifully contrasting the color of the dial.

Movement – Self-winding column wheel movement running at 4 Hz (28,800 VHP) with a power reserve of 60 hours from La Joux Perret.
