Description

In the 5,000-year historical and cultural journey of Eastern civilization, jade has always played a significant role. Jade and similar materials are natural, possessing a long and illustrious history. However, today, many young people perceive jade as an ancient material. In reality, there are no ancient materials, only ancient forms. People's contemporary perception of jade is still rooted in its manifestations from 500 years ago.

CIGA Design ingeniously blends the material of jade with modern design. It showcases the distinct Oriental charm and textural beauty of natural jade while embodying a contemporary, minimalist, and mechanical aesthetic.

The Jade · Green Chalcedony Edition watch boasts a case meticulously crafted from natural jade chalcedony, skillfully polished to achieve a flawless green color using scientific methods. It is gentle on the skin, smooth, and lustrous. The overall design is rounded, reminiscent of naturally formed pebbles, exuding a minimalist and contemporary style that perfectly aligns with modern lifestyles.

This timepiece features CIGA Design's specially developed CD02 automatic mechanical movement, with a hollowed-out design resembling gears, wherein 60 teeth replace the conventional hour markers.

The strap is made of green nylon weave, offering a lightweight, breathable, durable, and comfortable wearing experience for daily use.

Through this series, CIGA Design reinterprets traditional materials with a contemporary form, rekindling the vibrancy of jade and reintroducing it into modern lifestyles.

Note: In China, materials such as jadeite, Hetian jade, agate, chalcedony, and others are collectively referred to as "jade." Therefore, when we mention "jade," it often encompasses this category of materials.
