A Modern Evolution of a Classic Form
The Arnos draws inspiration from Fears’ heritage of producing elegant, tall rectangular wristwatches from the 1920s and 1930s. It reimagines and blends our history with contemporary design to create a watch for today’s wearers.
Elegant Proportions
The Arnos retains the harmonious proportions found in Fears’ century’s old cases which also feature a double-curved profile to hug the wrist. Its Swiss-made case combines high-polished surfaces with fine linear brushing, giving it a timeless feel. Despite a compact case width of 22.6 and a height of 8.4mm, the Arnos still is powered by an automatic and custom decorated Sellita SW1000.
Blue Circle, Grey Rectangle
The Arnos’ rectangular case provides the perfect canvas to explore negative space, juxtaposed with the contrasting shape of a central circle. The German-made dial features a precisely cut hobnail pattern, created using CNC machining. These perfectly formed pyramids are coated in pure rhodium and finished with a matte varnish, allowing them to subtly catch the light.
Two Distinct Looks
The Arnos comes with two interchangeable straps, both crafted by Delugs in Singapore. The first is a sleek, cut-to-size FKM rubber strap, which harmonises with the blue in the dial. The second is a hand-stitched Barenia leather strap, tanned in a subtle taupe shade which highlights the elegance of the Arnos.
