Dual Time GMT Resonance Manufacture Edition
Power reserve: 42 h, 25200 vph
Resonance Clutch
The Dual Time GMT Resonance uniquely fulfills the historical ambitions for Resonance that originated with Christiaan Huygens’s clock experiments in 1655. Officially certified by the Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique (CESM) as 'True Resonance’, it features twin balance wheels that consistently oscillate in Resonance; sharing vibrational energy between them over a purpose-built oscillation bridge. Inspired by Antide Janvier's 18th-century Resonance Clock, it enables the twin balance wheels of this timepiece to reliably synchronize with one another with unprecedented resilience against disruption; to actively and consistently mitigate torque fluctuations on the escapement and escapement wheel and ensure timekeeping precision and chronometric consistency for both time displays.
The GMT function of this Resonance timepiece is represented by two independent time displays, each with its own day/night indicator. With independently adjustable hour and minute hands, it supports time zones that may deviate from GMT by fractional hours. Presented in a new movement housed in a slim and refined 39mm case; The Dual Time GMT Resonance combines technical depth with optimal everyday wearability. Extraordinary hand-finishing and the dial-side kinetic spectacle of Resonance complete the value proposition of this historically-important timepiece.
At the core of this horological achievement is the ARF22 calibre; the 18th movement designed, engineered, and built entirely within our Manufacture. Comprising 231 meticulously hand-finished components, the ARF22 operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve.
