Worldtime rethought: Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer silver from NOMOS Glashütte is an innovatively modern interpretation of a worldtime watch. Thanks to the brand-new automatic caliber at work inside, it is one of the thinnest worldtime watches yet—with a design that combines a robust case with an appealingly sporty dial and a mechanical mechanism that is intuitive to use.
A rhodium-plated silver dial with sunburst finishing adds an elegant touch to the otherwise sporty design of this watch. The blue ring around the edge of the main dial displays city codes to represent 24 different time zones around the world. The subdial at 3 o’clock displays a second time zone with a single red hand in a 24-hour format, with an outer ring highlighting the daylight hours in blue, and nighttime in red. A subtle scale around the inner edge of the main dial also allows the wearer to calculate differences between time zones at a glance. Superluminova on the hands and hour markers glows blue, aiding legibility in low-light conditions.
The worldtime mechanism of this watch is easy to operate with the pusher at 2 o'clock. A single click of the pusher will advance the city disk and hour hand forward by an hour into a new time zone, while the subdial can be set to keep track of the time back home. The automatic caliber DUW 3202, made by NOMOS in Glashütte, Germany, is what powers this complex timepiece. By integrating the worldtime complication into the caliber, the case height remains under 10 millimeters, giving this watch an elegantly slender profile. A screw-down crown ensures a water resistance of 10 atm, while the red crown stem reminds wearers when the crown is open. Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer silver is the ideal timepiece for frequent travelers, adventurers, and global citizens alike.
