The BIFORMETER concept is based on the idea of combining the very best of mechanical watch making with a cutting-edge sports instrument. The instrument can be attached to the BIFORMETER wristwatch quickly and, most importantly, securely with a double power arm locking mechanism. It is then possible to have an elegant, distinctive watch and a professional sport instrument without having to compromise on functionality, precision or design.
The watch has been designed by Morten Linde and is entirely manufactured in Switzerland. It is waterproof to 300 meters and powered by an automatic movement. A particular attention to details and finishes pervades, such as the case back matching the dial colour.
Weighing just 40g, the Instrument is able to record and display graphically, intuitively and clear the information collected from internal and external sensors. Eight functions can be displayed: time, chronograph, atmospheric pressure, altitude, heading (compass), outside temperature, heart rate and a summary view of critical readings. The temperature and heart rate sensors are external and communicate with the instrument through a proprietary wireless network.
The instrument also records in real time all the sensor information to allow for later graphical display and analysis.
Just switch on, and it offers at-a-glance information about everything from how your body is performing during a physical performance. The instrument can be set-up to warn, for example, of frostbite risk, excessive ascent speeds or changing weather conditions 3 hours ahead.

A unique locking system connects the Instrument to the watch. There are silicone feet and plastic grips mounted on the instrument, which allow a 0.2mm gap between the Instrument and watch. By doing this we have ensured that the Instrument sits tightly on the watch – yet never comes into actual contact with it.

Les capteurs de températures et de rythme cardiaque sont externes et communiquent avec l'instrument par un réseau sans fil inventé par LINDE WERDELIN.
Enfin, l'instrument est capable d'enregistrer en continu les informations reçues de tous les capteurs en temps réels et de les afficher ensuite de façon graphique pour analyse. Il suffit de mettre l'instrument sous tension pour avoir une vue de synthèse immédiate des informations importantes sur votre corps et votre environnement extérieur quelque soit votre discipline. L'instrument incorpore un système d'alarmes pour vous avertir, entre autres, des risques d'engelures ou d'une ascension trop rapide. Il vous donnera également une prévision du temps à 3 heures.
