25th edition of the GPHG Entries are open
Geneva, 8 May 2025 – Swiss and international watch brands are invited to register as of today for the 25th edition of the GPHG. Entries will be open until 20 June 2025 via the dedicated digital platform.
The GPHG Academy now comprising 1050 members has kicked off this anniversary edition by proposing several hundred models for the competition. Brands can enter the timepieces proposed by the Academy or submit other models of their choice.
The Rules of the 2025 edition list the prizes and the 15 categories in which brands can compete this year. All information relating to the terms and conditions of participation is available at www.gphg.org under 2025 Entries.
By way of reminder, the Eco-innovation Prize and the Time Only category are maintained in this 25th edition for the second consecutive year; calendar complications are being included in the Men's Complication category; and the Mechanical Clock category is back.
During the summer, the Academy will hold an initial round of voting to select the 90 timepieces nominated in the 15 categories. The result of this shortlisting will be announced on 28 August 2025.
The winners will be chosen in the autumn, following a second electronic ballot by the Academy, supplemented by the vote of the Jury, which is also drawn from the Academy and chaired by Nick Foulkes. The 30 members of the Jury will physically examine the competing models at a meeting held behind closed doors and under notarial supervision, a few days before the awards ceremony.
The 25th GPHG Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday 13 November 2025 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva.
