To celebrate Michel Parmigiani's 70th birthday and pay tribute to his exceptional career, Parmigiani Fleurier presented in December 2020 the Toric Heritage, a beautifully elegant steel timepiece, available as a limited edition of 70 pieces.
Experience of restoring timepieces teaches a watchmaker far more than they would learn in a traditional career path. In fact, vast technical and aesthetic choices are available to those who plumb the mysterious depths of these often unique masterpieces. Specialising in producing modern watches as well as restoration, Parmigiani Fleurier draws on this almost inexhaustible source of tried-and-tested methods and retains the best of these for its creations.
Now, the manufacture is proud to present the Toric Heritage in white gold 18 cts. This watch features a blue guilloché dial with barley grain motif. This new creation forms part of the Toric collection, linked to the influence which Ancient Greek art and its ideal proportions has had on Michel Parmigiani. Powered by the self-winding proprietary calibre PF441, with a gold oscillating weight in rose gold 22cts, its javelin-shaped hands indicate the hours, minutes and seconds. The calendar appears at six o'clock. An Hermès alligator strap in Abyss blue adds the finishing touch to this exquisite timepiece.
