The open, free-spirited and minimalist universe of BLANCARRÉ is far more than just a watch brand. This independent creative space was founded by Nicolas Mertenat, creator and designer, who has a passion for contemporary art. He brings a different perspective to watch design, showcasing his experience and personal vision.

The watch

It is self-evidently square. Its unique aesthetic is inspired by minimal art and its cubic sculptures. It is designed like a piece of architecture that interlocks like a puzzle. Despite its simple, restrained appearance, its production is a complex process calling for excellent finishing: extremely sharp angles, smooth surfaces, perfect lines, distinctive decoration. The materials are noble and contemporary: titanium, ceramic and rubber. The BLANCARRÉ collection is the result of outstanding expertise and skills originating from the Swiss Jura. More than 85% of the watches are made in this region, in partnership with the finest watchmaking producers and artisans. The first BLANCARRÉ collection, equipped with a mechanical self-winding minute driving the hours, minutes and seconds, along with a large date module and a dual-time display.
