Single needle 001

 
In the hundreds of years’ horology history, time was represented by the hour, minutes and seconds hands, or just by hour and minutes hands. Single Needle 001 wristwatch is a breakthrough of traditional horologe; designer—Jianmin Zhang took advantage of flying gears speed ratio’s special differentia that is 11:12 to develop the asynchronous follow movement, so as to implement time reading by a needle (3 different patents).
 
The circle of dial indicating hour moves following with needle, it rotates 330 degree when hand rotates 360 degree. This wristwatch implement the time is represented by two ends of needle that wider end indicates hour and narrow end indicates minutes, which is a brand new concept of time representation and simplification of wristwatch’s construction.
 
Distinguished with traditional horology design concept, Single needle 001 wristwatch gives a needle a creative function that indicates time by it is two ends, which makes time indication more clear and accurate.
