READY TO TWIST YOUR TIME? THE NEW WAY OF WEARING SERPENTI!
After interpreting the symbol of the snake in countless different ways consistently at the crossroads between goldsmithing and High Jewellery, BVLGARI now reaches beyond its customary universe to propel the eternally youthful Serpenti towards a new field of expression: the icon adopts double wrap-around straps made from multicolour exotic leathers and transforms itself in the first made-to-order BVLGARI watch.
The first ever Serpenti watch on leather bracelet, the new timepiece features the same case of the iconic Tubogas watch with new proportions. The strap is made from karung skin, a water snake whose particularly thin and supple skin features scales mid-way between those of a lizard or the more customary snake variation. Precious and exclusive, it calls for a meticulous tanning process, after which the leather is extremely pleasant to wear, soft and smooth. On the surface, a varnish lending a subtle gloss further enhances the colouring with natural pigments in vivid, luminous shades.
The range features bracelets in various lush colours to match equally luxe dials, designed to be changed over in seconds so to mix-and-match at will. A second strap in karung leather or calfskin comes with each watch.
In an ultimate touch of refinement, the client is able to configure her Serpenti watch by means of the My Serpenti app, choosing her favourite bracelet, case and dial, so as to entirely personalise her Bulgari timepiece with her hand writing engraving on the caseback. In all, the palette of combinations and colour shades comprises a total of 312 variations, providing plenty of scope to enable every woman to customize her luxury icon.
