I suddenly looked at it and while running my fingers over it I felt its smoothness, delicacy and roundness. This was a feeling that immediately reminded me of my childhood and the smooth pebbles with which I played. Exuding a subtle blend of modern touches and a vintage feel, this is a watch composed of tradition and vision. An alliance between opposites. The clean-cut, simple lines of a wide rectangular-shaped case, balanced by gently curving rounded angles. A minimalist watch whose complexity lies in its construction, its case composed of two perfectly matching domed sapphire crystals, bound by a slender gold ribbon. A sun brushed slate-grey dial, adorned with a round counter and Arabic numerals make it easily readable. Its rectangular silhouette is interpreted in a large-sized 50.6 mm x 44.1 mm format.

Powered by a black PVD-coated mechanical self-winding movement, the New Retro displays a highly elegant gold, openworked oscillating weight reprising de GRISOGONO’s emblematic scrolling motif. Its impeccable style continues right down to the shape of its movement, whose mainplate has been incorporated into a base that is an identical reproduction of the shape of the watch. The New Retro’s elegant strap made of large square-scale alligator leather features a saddle-stitch finish.

A watch that bears within it all the wisdom of the passing of time, and which provides its own way of wearing time and history on the wrist.
