Inside Trilobe - Trilobe. Time. Liberated.

Trilobe invites you to embrace differences and to adopt a conceptual twist in time reading. With the Trilobe watch, time is set in motion. Three rotating rings carry a pillar of time: the largest ring for hours, the median for minutes, the smallest for seconds. The rings, eccentric and movable, turn counterclockwise. Thus, a different version of telling time has been conceived: not with hands but with a wisp of magic.

From a centric vision of watchmaking to an eccentric. A know-how signed Jean-François Mojon.

With its eccentric dynamic, audacity and expertise are all at the service of the dial’s poetry. Our innovation compendium is reflected in the development of our X-Centric module, powered by a highly modified 2892 calibre. It is under the aegis of Jean-François Mojon that Gautier Massonneau developed the Trilobe watch. It took over three years of R&D to achieve this patented technical prowess with its 246 custom-assembled components, created in France and manufactured in Switzerland.

Trilobe combines architecture, poetry and design for a new classic

The rings’ position on the dial was conceived to create harmony, so obvious yet so unapparent while simultaneously giving a specific place and a unique importance to each
component of time.

The Trilobe is an architectural motif that echoes the three pillars of time - Hours, Minutes and Seconds. Timeless and universal, this figure gives the brand its name, and becomes the new reference frame for displaying time.

The Sainte-Chapelle “grande rosace” has been chosen for the skeletonization of the seconds disc: it is a mysterious place for Parisians, far away from the wandering eyes of onlookers passing by. A so-called “radiant” architecture allowing the rays of light to enter, a luminous and subtle invitation to the heart of movement.

Finally, the sobriety of the dial equally enables a touch of eccentricity and poetry, with some hidden details, and the three non-aligned trilobes…Why not?

Les Matinaux

“Impose your luck, embrace your happiness and go toward your risks: by looking at you, they’ll get used to it.” René Char paves the way for hope and audacity. This is the spirit in which Trilobe was created. After the inaugural series launched in December 2018, the new collection, “Les Matinaux”, available starting from September 2019 in 8 variations, is a tribute to the poet: an invitation to live audaciously.
