The design is as carefully-honed as ever, featuring edgy lines and now, a Pure Black PVD treatment to set off every aspect of a distinctive style. The LA-03 Black Edition is a limited edition in the sporty chic watches by Lornet – designed, manufactured, and assembled in France.

Discreetly entitled LA-03 Black Edition, Lornet provide to their customers a darker edition of the LA-03. The timepiece, features the same architecture as the LA-01, the original collection from the up-and-coming Besançon firm: a large, curvaceous case in a wholly original design, two reworked brancard side pieces, an exclusive movement featuring extensive openwork, and Lornet’s distinguishing mark – a balance wheel at 12 o’clock.

“With this collection, we’re making full use of the potential offered by the aluminium alloy that’s at the heart of our in-house movement,” explains Anthony Simao, watchmaker and founder of Lornet. “The idea is to highlight all the various angles with different finishes, both architecture of the movement and case. Our partner proposed to us a special PVD treatment, much more resistant. Therefore we have decided to add a dark touch but not less elegant in our range.

Limited at 25 timepiece in the world and proposed at 12 000€, the independent brand is continuing his development and takes orders for this participant in Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève where Lornet will be proud to be flying the Made in France flag for mechanical watchmaking. After LA-01, 02 and 03, this Black Edition is no exception to the rule: a calibre and a timepiece developed, manufactured, built and finished in France.

Watch-lovers are sure to be won over by the way each inner angle is highlighted, the interplay of light on the bridges, and the alternating polished and satin finishes. The darker tones give the LA-03 an unprecedented air of elegance and the silicone straps, adding a further touch of sportiness to this model already iconic.

With this new model unveiled by Lornet, just eight months after the launch of the brand, further demonstrating its vitality – as well as that of the Franche-Comté watchmaking ecosystem that supports it. The fully-independent brand designs, manufactures, and assembles over 98% of all its components in the region.
