The DBS pays tribute to two sidereal watches made by John Roger Arnold between 1796 et 1799. The initials “DBS” stand for the watch’s two main characteristics, Double Balance wheel and Sidereal time. The DBS displays hours, minutes and seconds for local time, sidereal time, day/night display for local time, 24-hour display for sidereal time, display of time difference between local time and sidereal time.
