Iron Walker Automatic Ladies’ Wristwatch

The Iron Walker collection was inspired by the seemingly vertigo-free steel construction workers who built the towering steel skeletons of skyscrapers in the canyons of New York in the 1920s. Back then they were nicknamed the “iron walkers”. The collection consists of chronometers that are manufactured and tested at the Wempe observatory in Glashütte. The Iron Walker Automatic ladies’ wristwatch is striking because of the structural clarity of its case and dial design. The steel wristband, with three rows of links that are alternately polished and brushed, perfectly matches the proportions of the architectonic 36-millimeter case.
