The changing color case, made according to an innovative and avant-garde process developed by ArtyA, is adorned by a transparent dial hand-decorated with real leaves from the Amazonian jungle, some fragments of butterfly wings, and gold leaves. This unique work of ArtyA's creators Yvan Arpa and Dominique Arpa-Cirpka, will delight afficionados of exceptional masterpieces.

In the background, you will discover the ArtyA golden "shams" skeletonized manual movement. A green porosus strap adds the finishing touch.

As was first seen in the ArtyA Purity Tourbillon Chameleon, since 2020, ArtyA is developing Nano-sapphire cases capable of changing color depending on the light. In natural light, the "Chameleon" case has a yellow color, but when exposed to artificial light (6500K or above), the case instantly and completely changes color to a translucent, mysterious green.

The new ArtyA Nano-Sapphire watch case is an optically transparent polycrystalline material that is formed by the crystallization of glass with a unique chemical composition, and the result is greater physical and chemical properties than the original glass. This material is one of many glass-ceramic materials which have been around for more than 50 years and have a wide range of compositions and applications, using a multi-component high temperature composition on the base of two main oxides – SiO2 and Al2O3. These oxides are key components of most natural gemstones. A temperature of 1700 °C (compared to 700° C for glass) is needed to synthesize this material, and only one company in the world has adapted this existing technology to create a material specifically optimized for watches and jewelry.

ArtyA is the first company to use this remarkable material in a watch case. This case material has incredible hardness, 7 on Mohs scale, which is much higher than glass (5 on the Mohs scale), guaranteeing the durability of this incredible case material. Fully transparent, the Nano-Sapphire case has nothing to hide and plenty to show.
