Jalsa by Nebula - A Masterpiece in the Making

Introducing Jalsa, a limited-edition creation from Nebula by Titan, crafted to mark 225 years of Jaipur’s iconic Hawa Mahal. Only ten timepieces exist, and no two are alike.

At the heart of Jalsa is a miniature painting, hand-painted on marble by Padma Shri Shakir Ali,India’s celebrated miniature artist. Each dial takes nearly a month to complete, using natural pigments extracted painstakingly from crushed gemstones, minerals, and botanicals. Painted with a brush tipped with a single squirrel hair, the artwork reveals exquisite details: from the gentle curve of an elephant’s trunk to the serene expression of a royal figure - elements almost invisible to the naked eye, yet alive with history and soul and are inlaid with natural red agate, a gemstone deeply woven into Jaipur’s royal gem legacy. The agate is not just ornamental but poetic, grounding the movement in warmth, opulence, and the romance of ancient stone craft.

The 18K rose gold skeleton case draws inspiration from the jali work of Indian palaces. A red agate centre anchors the case, glowing with a quiet richness. A key design feature, the sapphire magnifier atop the minute hand enhances not just visibility but adds a sculptural dimension, drawing the eye toward the heart of the dial. It comes with a genuine leather strap that wraps the wrist in comfort and timeless elegance.

Jalsa is more than a timepiece, it is an authentic homage to Indian craftsmanship, miniature artistry, and the storied history of gem work. This is where craft becomes sculpture, time becomes tradition, and every detail is shaped with reverence. With only ten in existence, this is Nebula at its finest, where the soul of India meets the art of haute horlogerie.
