In this work of art, the figures of the zodiac form a circle presenting the constellations of the Southern sky, including Orion, Hydra, and the southern cross, all represented by original figures from middle ages. The 800 stars painted in 24 karat gold are an integral part of the painting. This unique piece reflects the incredible talent of miniature painter André Martinez and to miniature painting at its highest level.
